퍼리조아는 퍼리 컨벤션으로서, 창작물의 '구매/판매'가 주 목적인 코믹 마켓, 온리전(판매전) 등의 행사와 달리 '퍼리'를 좋아하는 사람들 간의 '교류'를 주목적으로 두고 있습니다.
Furry JoA?
퍼리 조아의 이름은 수인 팬덤을 뜻하는 퍼리(Furry)와 한국어로 조아(좋아)를 합친 것에 기반하였습니다.
'조아'를 약자화한 영어이름은 Furry JoA(Furry Joining of Asia)로, 아시아의 퍼리 팬덤이 모일 수 있는(Joining) 자리라는 의미로 이름지었습니다.

FurryJoA is a furry convention primarily focusing on "exchange" between people in the fandom rather than a market where people can "buy and sell" merchandise.
Furry JoA?
The title "FurryJoA" is a combination of two words: Furry and JoA, a Korean word for "good."
FurryJoA is also a backronym, in which JoA stands for Joining of Asia, hence, "Furry Joining of Asia." We wish FurryJoA could be a "joining" where furries worldwide can gather together.

Furry JoA?
Furry JOAはケモノ好きの意味のFurryと韓国語の好きという意味の좋아（チョア）を合わせたネーミングです。
そしてJOAはFurry JOA(Furry Joining of Asia)の縮約語で、アジア航空交通のハブである仁川を起点とし、アジアのFurry Fandomが集まる(Joining)所の意味を持っています。
